CHARME kick-off meeting
The CHARME project was officially launched on 11 July 2024 with an online kick-off meeting.
The first part of the meeting took place in live streaming to allow all interested organizations and people to learn about the project and all the European partners involved: Municipality of Pavia (Italy, lead partner), Municipality of Coimbra (Portugal), Municipality of Iaşi (Romania), Grand Poitiers Urban Community (France), Municipality of Turku (Finland), the University of Pavia (advisory partner) and the new discovery partner Lviv Bureau for European Integration (Ukraine), which met the partnership for the first time.
The beginning was marked by greetings from the Mayor of the Municipality of Pavia who welcomed and thanked the partnership, wishing them good work.
The meeting developed through the presentation of the project overall objective and activities and an insight into the issue addressed: digitisation of Cultural Heritage. Each partner introduced their organization, their city and their participation in the project, with a focus on the good practices identified to contribute to the learning process.
The live streaming part of the kick-off meeting (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7okd_lEY5k) concluded by inviting all interested organizations and people to keep up to date on the project activities via the project website and to join the project community through the Interreg Europe platform.
The second part of the meeting was reserved exclusively for the partnership and dedicated to organizational issues such as the appointment of the members of the Management Board, the planning of the meetings and the update of the first semester activities, with a focus on the first interregional meeting scheduled in Pavia in September 2024.
The CHARME kick-off represented an opportunity both to enhance and consolidate the partnership, and to provide the first formal joint public presentation of the collaboration that will involve the seven European partners over the next four years.
