Regional stakeholder meeting in Catalonia

The Catalan CITISYSTEM stakeholder group met on the 10th of July, gathering representatives from CERCA and non-CERCA centres, universities, the Catalan Waste Agency, and our APA, the Climate Action Department.

Each representative selected one good practice their institutions are currently involved in, and the group discussed them with the CITISYSTEM goals in mind. The good practices ranged from policies and monetary compensation to municipalities recycling correctly, to community composting on college campuses, or technical solutions to achieve the valorisation of carbon dioxide and other residues. It was an interesting and fruitful conversation, and everyone left reinvigorated to face the last weeks before the holidays and continue collaborating in the next semester of the project!
