Discussion of Organizational Issues and Summary of First Semester Activities

On October 31, 2024, the FISSH project partners held a follow-up meeting, this time in an online format. The meeting provided an excellent opportunity to address essential organizational issues such as management, finance, and interregional communication. It also served as a summary of the activities completed in the first semester, which concluded at the end of September. Together, we reviewed our successes as well as the challenges encountered throughout the project.

Priorities for the Second Semester - New Strategies for SMEs

The second part of the meeting focused on setting priorities for the upcoming phase of the project. We are currently preparing a report on the status of each participating region, emphasizing the development of sustainable business strategies and creating new opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the food sector. Our goal also includes identifying best practices that can help these enterprises become more resilient and adaptable to global challenges, such as climate change, economic fluctuations, and social issues.

Plans and Timeline for Further Actions

During the meeting, we confirmed specific dates for upcoming meetings and established a detailed timeline for executing key tasks. The FISSH project is well underway, and the collaborative efforts of our partners enable us to steadily support the sustainable development of the European food sector.
