Study Visit & Interregional Workshop Extremadura (Spain)
On 12 and 13 November, the TALENT4S3 consortium will participate with its stakeholders for a first study visit and an interregional thematic workshop focusing on Regional brain drain intelligence in Extremadura, Spain.
This event will cover the topic of talent retention and attraction within regions facing brain drain and talent shortages. Through collaborative sessions, it aims to address regional development strategies to counteract talent loss, focusing on innovative policies, data-driven intelligence, and practical examples from Extremadura's regional policies under RIS3. Activities will explore topics like regional policy improvement, global outreach for talent, vocational training, and talent return initiatives.
Attendees can expect a mix of informative presentations on regional development tools, workshops focused on enhancing brain drain data infrastructure, and networking sessions. Study visits will showcase Extremadura's initiatives, including their pre-incubator program, a tech talent program, and other talent-focused initiatives.
