A Sustainability Journey into Cluster Policies in the EU

The Accelerate GDT project invites you to join us for an exciting webinar which compares and contrasts 7 European Cluster Ecosystems on the 28^th of February @ 3pm CET.  

These case studies were completed as part of the Accelerate GDT project. The aim is to understand our partner regions' ecosystems and support policies to integrate sustainable and digital transition initiatives into enterprise policies for industry support. 

The webinar will be focused on the summary and comparison of the 7 partner regions Cluster Ecosystem Analysis. This presentation will outline the strategic national/regional policy context, an overview of the clustering ecosystem and the various state/regional supports for cluster programmes provided – including finance, aims, centralized supports & KPIs.

We will also have a special guest, Annie Renders, Head of Unit Cluster Policy & Strategic Relations at the Government of Flanders, VLAIO. Annie will outline how cluster policy developed in Flanders, and how certain sectors had specific challenges to support cluster development. She will outline examples of inter-cluster collaboration and how Flanders is tackling the twin transition, and share some thoughts on Flanders future cluster policy and what that might look like - with the shared goals of increasing revenue, impact and sustainability for industry in the region. 

We encourage the participant to actively participate to the webinar as we will open an interactive Q&A session where we want to hear from you and the different perspective from around the globe.
