The theme "Technology Transfer in Practice”.

Participants learned about practical examples of technology transfer - a process of how to effectively transfer research results to the commercial sphere. The program included presentations of successful projects that demonstrated how cluster organizations help innovation and the development of corporate practice.

The event also included the presentation of NCA awards in several areas: for promoting innovation (Moravian-Silesian Autocluster), internationalisation (Mechatronika cluster), education (Czech Footwear and Leather Association), development of regional innovation environment (CLUTEX) and promotion of advanced technologies (NANOPROGRESS). NCA has long supported the development of clusters and strengthened cooperation between businesses, research institutions and the public sector. Its key activities include the organisation of seminars, workshops and networking events focusing on innovation, technology transfer and professional competences. The Association also supports international networking of Czech companies with global markets, sharing of know-how and strategic advice on establishing new clusters.

This year's Cluster Day concluded with a tour of selected Mendel University sites, such as the University's Johann Microbrewery and Wood Technology, and a social evening focused on networking.
