SMEs Digitalization Roadshow 2024
The organizers will follow the tradition of several years and will again organize conferences in the regions of the Czech Republic to raise awareness of Industry 4.0. Sharing case studies, sharing experiences and expert lectures on important topics related to the introduction of automation, robotization and digitalization are the topics we will be focusing on again next year. How to approach this issue and where to look for solutions? This kind of information will again be answered during the presentations and practical workshops, which will be conducted by experts from Czech and foreign companies and universities. The programme will also include excursions to professional workplaces in universities and companies. The event enjoys high interest especially from progressive manufacturing companies.
The next planned event will take place at the end of March, for the fourth time in Jihlava at The College of Polytechnics, Jihlava, where the interest in the conference is higher every year and the event is attended by entrepreneurs from all over the Czech Republic, both from established companies and start-ups. This time, the use of artificial intelligence in industrial production will be interwoven throughout the programme. The next meeting is scheduled for September 2024 in Zlín.
"The SME Digitisation Conference is designed especially for small and medium-sized manufacturing companies that are most concerned with Industry 4.0 and its integration into their business processes. In general, the Czech SMEs invest little in this area and in R&D activities compared to foreign corporations. To remain competitive, they must focus on streamlining and automating routine activities through P4.0", and this must be supported, says the chief coorganiser in CzechInvest for SMEs Digitalization Roadshow, Denisa Lafuntal, Head of Regional Office for Central Bohemian Region and Prague.
CzechInvest has been organising the SMEs Digitisation Roadshow in cooperation with NCI4.0 since 2020. During this time, we have already held 17 events online and directly in the regions of Prague, Ostrava, Jihlava, Pardubice and Plzeň. The events have been attended by over 500 participants in person, recordings have been viewed on the CzechInvest YouTube channel by over ten thousand people, and more than 130 inspiring speakers have presented on these events.
