Human resources as engine for growth - event in Viechtach!

The second interregional event of the AdCap4GoodGov project, focusing on how administrative capacity and human resources drive stronger communities, organized in Viechtach, has just ended. On February 26-27, we had 2 wonderful days, dedicated to those who make things work in public administration: the people who plan, provide, promote and innovate public services. Those who make things happen and whose passion and vision can lead to smart, innovative and inclusive solutions that help the community become stronger!

And we didn't just talk about them but also about the people in the community: about their power and involvement in identifying solutions to the community's problems and working, side by side, together with the administration people for the development of the community! And also about how discussing common challenges helps us share solutions and identify solutions together.

Who was there?

Representatives of the seven partners of the project and various stakeholders of the partners,  from the regional government of Murcia (Spain), the Municipality of Temse (Belgium), the Commune of Ciugud and the Commune of Sadu (Romania), etc., committed to work together in order to strengthen administrative capacity and to build smarter administrations for stronger communities.

For all of us, this event once again proved that experience sharing and international cooperation are essential for building public administrations that are more efficient, more digital, and closer to their citizens.

• Sharing strategies and tools that AdCap4GoodGov partners use to strengthen administrative capacity for the benefit of their communities
• Community involvement and support in providing quality services;
• Exploring new good practices/innovative solutions promoted by our partners and stakeholders, which help human resources provide quality digital services and face the challenges that they impose on
• sharing experience and strategy for managing the upcoming wave of retirements in public administration
