On June, 26th 2024, the first Local Stakeholder Group (LSG) meeting for the CCSI4CCSI project organized by MARR SA took place online, bringing together key participants from various cultural, academic, and technological institutions to establish the foundation of the Local Stakeholder Group of the project in Maloplska.

The meeting focused on aligning stakeholders with the project’s goals and discussing future actions to support the Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSI) through the triple transition: green, digital, and social.  Representatives from the following organizations attended: Akademia Sztuk Pięknych; Akademia WSB; Fundacja Polish Heritage; Grupa Robocza; Institute of Virtual Reality; Krakowski Park Technologiczny; Krakowskie Biuro Festiwalowe; Krakowskie Szkoły Artystyczne; Małopolski Instytut Kultury; Nordic House ; M Województwa Małopolskiego.

The project’s central goal is to facilitate the triple transition —green, digital, and social— within the Cultural and Creative Sectors at both regional and interregional levels. Emphasis was placed on how collaboration between creative industries, academia, governmental bodies, and tech hubs can shape policies and provide systematic support for CCSI, helping them thrive in competitive markets and contribute to regional development.

Each organization highlighted potential areas of contribution and interest in supporting the project’s vision. This session allowed stakeholders to explore synergies and how they can collaborate to drive innovation in their respective sectors, focusing on sustainability, technology, and social impact. A detailed action plan will be developed to align each stakeholder’s role in the project.

Additionally, stakeholders were invited to participate in the 1st Exchange of Experience event in Krakow on 17-19 September 2024. This will lead to further discussions on common methodologies and tools to assess CCSI needs and create a framework for monitoring trends and opportunities in the sector.

This successful first meeting set the stage for the CCSI4CCSI project to move forward with a strong collaborative foundation, ensuring cultural and creative sectors are empowered to innovate and respond to the evolving challenges of the green, digital, and social transitions.
