CDR encourages companies to consider social, economic, technological and environmental components in the production and use of digital technologies and processes. 

Our regional and interregional learning approach involves increasing knowledge of the concepts among partners and staff. It then analyses the challenges hindering CDR adoption in SMEs and identifies public policy measures that could address them. First, partners consolidated concepts to share knowledge on the elements of the CDR and then used interregional exchange workshops to identify and analyse the challenges.

The result of the ‘understanding the challenges’ phase is summarised in the infographic that provides an overview of the most common internal and external challenges to the uptake of CDR in SMEs, as identified by CDR EUROPE partners.

Partners will then seek answers by identifying possible policy tools (Good Practices) to address the identified challenges and start implementing change with policy improvements.
