UN Report: Creative Economy Outlook 2024

“Creative Economy Outlook 2024” is a United Nations report which focuses on the contribution of the creative economy to the global economy and employment, the trends in creative industries (from architecture and audiovisual sector to music, videogames and visual arts), the import/exports and barriers to trade, the digitalization and the use of artificial intelligence in the creative industries, the market competition and the role of creative economy for inclusion and sustainability. 

The creative economy is growing and offers key opportunities to develop territories and create a more resilient and prosperous society. The report presents key examples, annexes and guidelines that could help in rethinking cultural and creative industries and support them to support a regeneration of cities, markets, and societies.
