After the institutional greetings by the Slovenia Forest Service and the Province of Potenza, the peer review started with the masterclass followed in the afternoon by the stakeholder workshop.

Many good practices have been presented, such as those related to the conservation and management of the Alpine Ibex in Slovenia and to the Life Lynx project, whose objective is to prevent the extinction of the Dinaric-SE Alpine lynx population through reinforcement and long-term conservation.
Others included those related to the quiet zones of the Triglav National Park, one of the largest protected areas of national and international importance.

Subsequently, a good practice related to large carnivores was presented. Its objective is the prevention and reduction of damages to livestock through the use of electric fences as a means of protection.
Regarding large carnivores in Slovenia, the partnership was also presented with a wonderful project aimed at helping school children coexist with large carnivores. This is achieved through a series of workshops and hands-on work with biological materials.
The second day was dedicated to the study visits:
- Visit to the quiet zones in Pokljuka
- Tour of good practice: protecting livestock from large carnivores with high electric fences
- Visit to the Memorial of Lynx Adaptation enclosure

Last but not least, the project partners also had the opportunity to meet in person the new discovery partners from Bosnia and North Macedonia who joined the project last summer.
