At the third annual plant market organized by the municipality of Silandro, the CORE project was presented. With support from the master composter of the Silandro composting plant, the community got a hands-on look at how organic waste is transformed into high-quality compost.

To further engage the community, specially designed compost bags were distributed for free. These bags, branded with the project logo, included clear instructions on how to properly collect organic waste and guidelines on using compost as fertilizer for various plant types.

This initiative exemplifies the CORE project’s commitment to promoting sustainable practices in rural areas while fostering community participation.
