Meeting room with stakeholders at the working table

September for DAPHNE was the month of the stakeholder meetings. We have already mentioned the importance of this activity: the Stakeholder meeting represents the moment of sharing ideas between the participants, the partners can collect ideas, suggestions and needs directly from their local scenarios. This is the moment of listening and note about the feeling of the local communities. On September 12th and 13th the meetings organized by our partner NERDA in Romania and by the Irish partner HSE took place. Here is a short notebook on these:

HSE (Ireland)

The meeting, on September 12, 2024 was participated (Online) by the HSE Climate Action & Sustainability Office, Department of Health Capital Infrastructure Office, the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland, the Technological University Dublin, Codema (City of Dublin Energy Management Agency) and the Clean Technology Centre of Munster Technological University. Peter Smyth, Assistant National Director in HSE Capital & Estates opened the meeting and project team members Cathryn Buckley, Debbie Stones and Steven Daly provided an overview of the DAPHNE Project, the HSE’s policy instrument (HSE Infrastructure Decarbonisation Roadmap), project finances and also the actions taken to date by the project partners. The group discussed opportunities for learning, cooperation and further networking between the HSE and stakeholders, along with opportunities in relation to the wider DAPHNE project partners and opportunities to expand the stakeholder group in particular to include wider community participation.
