On Thursdays, November 16, ENAIBLER project partner Region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté organised another online session “AI in practice”. This session is part of the Regional Council's monthly program aimed at the community of smart territories and public administrations in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, shedding light on the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The main speaker of the session, Frédéric Hillon, Artificial Intelligence expert at the University of Burgundy, shared invaluable insights but also provided practical links for hands-on experience with AI applications. Attendees were taken on a journey to develop their first AI program using Brain.js, a versatile JavaScript library for neural networking. Known for its accessibility and released under the MIT License as free and open-source software, Brain.js is applicable in both browser and Node.js backends. It acts as a gateway to neural networking, with a user-friendly JavaScript syntax that simplifies the complexities of the field.

ENAIBLER project partner Vanda Turczi from Region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté shares that “the popularity of the monthly sessions shows that there is a real interest on AI among the public administrations of the area”.

Next session, December 12Victor Vila from ARNia (Regional Agency for Digital and AI of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region) will delve into compelling use cases within the public sector, providing valuable insights and knowledge.

Stay tuned for more information as we continue to unravel the potential of AI in shaping our future.
