AI in the public sector: Navigating social impacts
On Tuesday, March 19, ENAIBLER project partner Region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté organised another online session “AI starts to work in the public sector. What kind of social impacts?”. This session is part of the Regional Council's monthly program aimed at the community of smart territories and public administrations in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region, shedding light on the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Yann Ferguson, a sociologist from INRIA (the National Institute of Research on IT and Digital) and the scientific director of LaborIA, delivered a presentation on the role of AI in the public sector, unravelling social impacts. With a diverse audience of 16 attendees, the session provided a platform for discussions and critical reflections on the societal implications of AI integration.
Next session, April 9, Juliette Fropier from ECOLAB-Ministry of ecological transition will talk about “AI and environment : study, opportunity and risk”.
