ENAIBLER showcased at SETT Conference
From 8–10 April, Anna Larsson and Peter Degerman from Skellefteå Kommun (Sweden) took the stage at the SETT Conference – the Nordic region’s leading event for innovative and lifelong learning – held at Kistamässan, Stockholm.
Speaking to a packed exhibition hall, they presented the important work being done within the Education and Labour Market department in Skellefteå. Their focus: developing practical guidelines and training materials for staff on the responsible use of AI, with particular attention to information security, ethics, policy alignment, and educational frameworks.
The presentation centred on the Responsible Digitalisation initiative, part of the Interreg Europe funded ENAIBLER project. The initiative explores ethical considerations in AI deployment, sets requirements for procurement, and evaluates the kinds of information employees can process using various AI systems – alongside associated risk levels.
Anna and Peter also highlighted Skellefteå Kommun’s efforts to boost AI literacy among staff, sharing both what has been achieved and what lies ahead in their continued digital skills development.
The session – run in the style of an "AI café" – sparked engaging discussions and offered a valuable platform to exchange experiences with participants from across the Nordics.
