Swedish partners host successful co-creation webinar
On February 1st, the ENAIBLER project's partners Umeå University and the Municipality of Skellefteå, jointly hosted a webinar titled "Co-creation: The Idea and an Example from Skellefteå." This collaborative session provided valuable insights into how Skellefteå municipality utilized co-creation as an innovative method.
Co-creation, also known as Co-production, is a collaborative approach aimed at directly involving citizens in the process of enhancing public services. By empowering citizens as active participants in business development within the public sector, co-creation leads to more tailored and effective service delivery, enriched by diverse perspectives.
While co-creation isn't a new concept, its implementation has often faced challenges such as limited participation and isolated data. However, the method presented during the webinar by ENAIBLER Swedish partners represents a more dynamic and inclusive approach to citizen engagement in public service development.
During the webinar, ENAIBLER partners had the opportunity to engage in a simplified co-creation workshop. Despite the challenge of bringing participants from five different countries together, the workshop facilitated an immersive experience through the entire co-creation process using Mural.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their patience and dedication throughout the workshop. As the ENAIBLER project continues to evolve, stay tuned for more updates and insights on our journey towards innovative public service delivery.
