"Digital assistance and education for citizens - Helping citizens keep up
Many public institutions have gone through a process of digitizing public services. Now, a citizen can perform most interactions with public institutions online from home, from paying taxes to applying for urbanism authorizations and obtaining various documents without needing to live their home. The problem we face is that a significant portion of citizens have not been able to keep up with the digitization of the services and still prefer to physically go to a public institution for anything they need.
Through the Interreg program 'Helping citizens keep up with the digitalization of the institutions,' we aim to develop best practices that public institutions can implement to address this problem we have identified. Additionally, we want to create a pilot project, a center equipped with computers where citizens can go to be assisted in their online interaction with the public institution. In this way, they can both solve their immediate needs and learn how to use online services
