Get ready for the Project training days
In this section you will our tips to get ready for the project training days as well as some useful things to keep in mind before, during and after the event.
Agenda and group division
The agenda of each day is available on the programme page.
Please note that for most of the sessions and workshops, you will be divided into groups.
You have received an email indicating your group number before the event. You will also be able to check it on the spot at the venue. The group division depends on your role based on the categories outlined below.
If you are a project representative, the group division is based on your project acronym:
- Group 1: Acronyms 1-F
- Group 2: Acronyms G-P
- Group 3: Acronyms R-Z
If you are a controller, the group division is based on your country:
- Group 1: Countries A-E
- Group 2: Countries F-L
- Group 3: Countries M-Z
If you are a national point of contact, you will be in Group 3.
Note that due to limited capacity and the participation limit of two representatives per project per day, we can only allow participation in the trainings for which you have registered in advance.
Workshops and activities
The project training days are designed to be interactive and we count on your active participation during the workshops.
What to expect:
- Group work and practical exercises
- Discussions and sharing of ideas and experiences
There will be some plenary sessions and short presentations as well. The presentations will be available afterwards.
Take your laptop with you. For certain exercises, you will be able to use it (for instance to test reporting features in our Portal). But be prepared to leave it aside for other tasks and work together with the other participants on various different exercises and activities.
Wifi will be available throughout the venue.
Networking with other participants
You can make use of our community to reach out to other participants before (and after) the training. Browse through the attendee list and see if you already spot some familiar names. Or perhaps you'll find some other participants who have similar interests as you - take note and reach out to them already before the event!
Use the community to:
- Filter and find others who work on similar themes and topics as you;
- Save interesting contacts for later by clicking on a star icon in the profile card:
- Send direct messages to relevant contacts.
Don't forget to make sure that your own profile is also up to date:
- Add a profile image
- Fine-tune your interests and areas of expertise
- Double-check that you are linked to your project(s)
Log in to edit your profile and use the community features.
Please note that photos will be taken during the event. We will also have a video crew on site. You may be approached for a short testimonial or comment about the event or about your project.
For more information, please reach out to our communication team on site.
