FutureECOS stakeholder workshop in Poličnik, Croatia
The stakeholder workshop, within the Interreg Europe project FutureECOS, was held on Friday, September 27th, 2024, in the Centre for Development and Education in Poličnik. It was organized by the PP2 Zadar County Development Agency ZADRA NOVA and PP5 Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds to present the project FutureECOS Future-proof living space in growth corridor regions and to discuss future challenges and possible solutions. During the workshop, the participants expressed various opinions and views which will contribute to the formation of the Territorial Analysis.
The concept of “Future-proof Living Space” promoted by FutureECOS requires multi-level/sectoral implementation at political and practical levels, interactions between public bodies and effective cooperation with stakeholders and different demographic groups of citizens. Regional development must be coordinated with spatial planning, research and development, climate strategies and social plans.
The meeting was attended by employees of PP2 ZADRA NOVA and PP5 Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, and stakeholder representatives.
