GIFT Project Peer Review in Rimini

On October 24-25 2024, the Province of Rimini welcomed technical experts from Croatia and Sweden as part of a Peer Review for the GIFT (Green Infrastructure for Forests and Trees) project.

During the review, the experts participated in study visits to key green infrastructure sites in the province, including the Parco del Mare, Parco Marecchia, and Ecovia del Conca. These sites are prime examples of sustainable green infrastructure management in the Rimini area, showcasing best practices and opportunities for enhancing the integration of green infrastructure into regional policies.

This event provided an invaluable opportunity for the Province of Rimini to engage in direct dialogue with European partners on sustainability and environmental resilience, reinforcing the region’s commitment to promoting innovative, sustainable green policies.
