International and Regional GIFT Stakeholders meet in Rimini

On October 22-23 2024, the Province of Rimini hosted the 4th meeting of the GIFT Project, an European initiative focused on integrating green infrastructure into local and regional policies.

The meeting brought together project partners to advance key project activities and objectives. As a part of the gathering, the 4th Local Regional Stakeholders Group session took place, providing an opportunity for discussion and updates with local stakeholders. During this event, regional funding opportunities provided by the Emilia-Romagna Region for green infrastructure improvement were presented.

Specifically, two projects currently financed by the Region were highlighted, located in the municipalities of Riccione and Bellaria/Igea Marina. These projects aim to enhance urban green spaces and valorize local natural resources, demonstrating the commitment of both the Emilia-Romagna Region and the Province of Rimini to promoting green infrastructure that meets environmental and community well-being needs.

This meeting strengthened collaboration between international partners and local stakeholders, underscoring the value of integrated policies and best practices in continually enhancing sustainable territorial development.
