Partners Celebrate Achievements at GIFT Meeting in Croatia

On August 19, 2024, the third Regional Stakeholder Group meeting of the GIFT project took place in Zagreb, bringing together key partners including the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds (MRRFEU), Croatian Forests Ltd., the Zagreb Development Agency, and the City of Zagreb.

Representatives from the Zagreb Development Agency and the City of Zagreb provided a comprehensive update on the progress since the previous meeting, highlighting key achievements, challenges encountered, and plans for future initiatives.

The meeting reaffirmed the core goals of the GIFT project, focusing on enhancing green infrastructure, boosting biodiversity, mitigating climate change, and improving the overall quality of life for local communities. Additionally, the importance of knowledge sharing and broader stakeholder engagement was emphasized, aiming to involve as many participants as possible in the effort to preserve and enhance green infrastructure.

Looking ahead, the fourth Peer Review meeting is scheduled for October in Rimini, Italy.
