Second GIFT Regional Stakeholder Meeting in Zagreb, Croatia

The following project partners took part in the meeting: Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds (MRRFEU), Croatian Forests Ltd. (Hrvatske šume d.o.o.), Public institution for the management of the natural values ​​of the City of Zagreb - Nature of the City of Zagreb, Development Agency Zagreb and City of Zagreb.

A representative of the City of Zagreb made a presentation with an overview of the activities carried out by the project in the period since the last meeting. Goals, purposes and dissemination of knowledge and experience gained so far are laminated with all stakeholders of the meeting.

Experiences from previous peer reviews, problems of peri-urban and urban forests and consequences for citizens, flora and fauna were presented by experts.

A special emphasis was placed on the next peer review, which will be held in Zagreb in May 2024. The experts presented their opinions and provided guidelines as an important input for expert thematic planning of the upcoming event.
