We’re excited to share highlights from the recent stakeholder meeting in Tilburg, where vibrant energy and collaboration were at the heart of discussions shaping the future of the sharing economy in the city’s communities.

Participants, with their deep understanding of local neighborhood strengths and needs, worked together to tailor approaches specific to each area. This meeting marks another important step toward realizing Tilburg's vision: by 2050, every neighborhood will host dynamic sharing hubs that reflect the unique needs of its residents.

Our Approach:

To truly meet residents' needs, we believe in a bottom-up approach that empowers the community to co-create and take ownership. While the results will differ across neighborhoods, the approach remains consistent.

Collaboration was key, with insights from Gemeente Tilburg, ContourdeTwern, WonenBreburg, and the neighborhood council. Together, they identified over 100 potential stakeholders in Reeshof, ensuring the sharing economy grows in a way that is responsive to each neighborhood’s unique needs.

Our Goals:

  • Identify and engage key local stakeholders
  • Build a community-driven sharing economy that promotes sustainability

Next Steps:

With the shared energy and knowledge, we are ready to turn ideas into actionable plans to create thriving, connected sharing communities. The enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated at this meeting will propel the project forward, bringing us closer to our vision of a circular future!
