On the 28th of June the Chamber of Commerce of Seville hosted its 1st official stakeholders' meeting in the framework of Green Hydra activities. Before the meeting the Chamber team had established contacts with all the stakeholders.

The group of stakeholders is formed by local and regional organizations with different competencies in relation with green hydrogen implementation, such as the Regional Secretary of Energy, the Cluster of Hydrogen, the University of Seville, FEDEME the Federation of Metal Entreprises, the Sevilla Port Authority and the Vision Grid Energy that brought the private sector view on the different topics addressed.

Stakeholders did not only have the chance to get to know more in details the objectives of Green Hydra and its activities, but also engaged in a very fruitful discussion highlighting the need to achieve a balance between offer and demand from the market for green hydrogen, progresses on development of ad-hoc adapted training programmes addressed to the future professionals of the sector, and the existing barriers for the implementation of green hydrogen in our region despite its very high potential in renewable energy.

This first meeting was also the starting point of our journey identifying good practices from our region to be shared with the partners of Green Hydra in the next months towards the same objectives
