Meeting with stakeholders in Lublin

The Municipality of Lublin and Brama Grodzka Teatr, as partners of the #JEWELSTOUR project, are involved in several stakeholder engagement activities.

Meetings with #stakeholders have already started some weeks ago, on February 5th 2025 there was the 2nd meeting. The focus was on storytelling and tourist infrastructures connected to Jewish heritage in Lublin. It was a great opportunity to exchange ideas and experience to city guides as well as representatives of cultural institutions and museums.
Main aims of the meeting were promoting the Jewish heritage as a part of the cultural landscape of the city, building up the narrative about Jewish heritage, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, and, finally, the presentation of good practices and ideas of participants.

On 6th February 2025, the Municipality of Lublin organized a stakeholders meeting, which succeeded to be a sparkle for starting a brand-new cooperation in Lublin in the area of Jewish heritage. A few tour guides and a representative of "Jewish Lublin" Foundation first met, and soon they organized together a meeting in Chachmei Lublin Yeshiva, which was held on 19th Feb 2025.
Almost 50 tour guides showed up to learn the story of Jewish community of Lublin after Second World War and get to know more about Jewish traditions.

A new series of meetings are foreseen to complement the activities scheduled in the project aimed at promoting and valorizing cultural heritage in Europe.
