Unveiling JEWELS TOUR Partners: BUas

The Breda University of Applied Sciences (BUas), located in the south of Netherlands, is
the Advisory Partner of the JEWELS TOUR project, which has been funded under the
Interreg Europe programme.

The support of the institution is crucial to the project, since it is the largest specialised
university of applied sciences in the Netherlands providing higher education in the
domains of tourism, leisure, hospitality, cultural heritage, and technologies. BUas mission
is to create meaningful experiences. BUas has extensive experience in European projects,
and it is used to work using immersive technologies such as games, AR/VR/XR, (digital)
storytelling, data-driven simulations and AI-based modelling. Therefore, in the JEWELS
TOUR project, the university’s team will share its combined expertise providing all partners
with methodological guidelines, tools and strategies on these topics. In addition, given the strong know-how, BUas will oversee the stakeholders’ engagement
plan and coordinate the research phase of the project for good practices identification in the field of JCH valorization, besides monitoring policy improvements during the final
follow-up phase.
