Unveiling JEWELS TOUR Partners: Municipality of Erfurt

The Municipality of Erfurt, located in the central area of Germany, is a partner of the JEWELS TOUR project, funded by the Interreg Europe programme. 

In 2023 Erfurt was included on the UNESCO World Heritage list for its precious medieval Jewish Heritage, and since 2009 academic employees were concerned with the application process. Therefore, participation in the JEWELS TOUR project will bear diverse benefits to the Municipality of Erfurt, with clear reference to the objectives set in the cultural strategy of the city. 

The institution aims at improving competencies on the subject of cultural heritage valorisation and building strong relationships with national and international stakeholders seeking sponsors for future projects and activities.
