Unveiling JEWELS TOUR Partners: Tourism Agency of Riga

The Riga Investment and Tourism Agency, located in Latvia, is partner of the JEWELS TOUR project, funded by the Interreg Europe programme.

The main goal of the agency department of tourism is to ensure tourism promotion and development in general, as well as the international recognition of Riga.
In regard to that, JEWELS TOUR will undoubtedly foster the recognition and promotion of the city's Jewish cultural heritage, as the Jewish community in Riga has made substantial contributions to the city's cultural and economic life, despite facing significant challenges during the Holocaust and Soviet era.

Thanks to the new competencies acquired during the project, new tourism routes and sites will be promoted, and cultural events and exhibitions will be organized. Moreover, the agency project team is willing to improve the city policy instruments to make them more sustainable and inclusive for Riga's near future.
