KARMA - Working Group Online Event

The event is led by "Working Group 1: Circular Construction and Restoration of Buildings of Public Relevance" and is organised by the KARMA project partner Eurokom (IT).

The workshop aims to promote sustainable practices in the construction and restoration of buildings, with a focus on the use of circular materials and minimizing environmental impact. At the event, participants will discuss best practices, successful case studies, and innovative solutions to address the challenges of integrating circular systems into new and restored buildings.

Key presentations:

• Benefits and strategies of circularity in construction. The case of the Juventus stadium in Turin. Speaker: Caterina Gironda, Architect expert in urban planning
• Materials with proven experience: the circular renovation of the city hall of Roeselare. Speaker: Ine Lobelle, project leader climate and renovation, City of Roeselare
• #TogetherCircular – County Bergstrasse and Concular work together to realise a circular STEM Education Centre. Speakers: Astrid Hartmann (Architect, Projektleitung Kreis Bergstraße), Dominik Campanella (Managing Director, Co-Founder Concular) or Elena Petkova (Architect, Circular Consultant Concular)
