Launched by the Research Council of Lithuania and funded by the program "Interreg Europe," "KnowledgeAnalytics" is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at revolutionizing the transfer of scientific knowledge to businesses and society.

The project strives to bridge the gap between scientific research and practical applications in the business world. By employing advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and big data, "KnowledgeAnalytics" seeks to enhance the efficiency and impact of knowledge transfer activities. This initiative is a collaboration between leading institutions from across Europe, including:

  • Lithuanian Innovation Centre (Lithuania)
  • Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (Slovakia)
  • Autonomous University of Barcelona (Spain)
  • LAB University of Applied Sciences (Finland)
  • Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (Czech Republic)
  • University of Mons (Belgium)
  • Estonian Research Council (Estonia)

Kick-off Event Highlights The project officially commenced with a two-day kick-off meeting in Vilnius on the 9th and 10th of May 2024, featuring insightful sessions and study visits to the Vilnius University Faculty of Physics. Key figures such as Kristina Babelytė-Labanauskė, Prof. Dr. Pranciškus Vitta, Zita Duchovskienė, and Salomėja Vanagienė played pivotal roles in organizing and contributing to this event.

Day 1 Highlights:

  • An introduction to the project's objectives, activities, outputs, and expected results.
  • Presentations by each project partner on their regional or national activities and best practices.
  • Afternoon sessions dedicated to exchanging good practices from Lithuania, fostering networking and discussion.

Day 2 Highlights:

  • A comprehensive overview of knowledge transfer processes by Dr. Kristina Babelytė-Labanauskė, Head of the Innovation Department at Vilnius University.
  • Sessions on project management, including the subsidy contract, partnership agreement, and communication activities.
  • Concluding study visits and final remarks.

"KnowledgeAnalytics" represents a significant step forward in harnessing the power of data to drive innovation and collaboration between academia and industry.
