On July 5th, 2024, a stakeholder meeting took place in Santander, Cantabria, Spain, organized by the Regional Ministry of Economic, Finance and European Funds of the Government of Cantabria and the European Projects Office of Cantabria (OPE Cantabria). Four stakeholders from three entities participated, including Raúl Santos (Advisor, Chamber of Commerce of Torrelavega), Adela Sánchez (EU Advisor, CEOE-CEPYME Cantabria), and lecturers Soledad Nogués and Ana Carrera from the University of Cantabria. From the LOTTI partners, participants included Marta García Hospital (General Director of EU Funds), Paz Díaz Nieto (Coordinator, OPE Cantabria), Consuelo Hospital (European Affairs Office), Jesús Bedoya (ERDF Department), and Lucia Cano (Communication Officer, OPE Cantabria).

The meeting resulted in several key conclusions: new stakeholders joined the project, including professors from the University of Cantabria specializing in economic management of European funds and sustainable territory management. An analysis of best practices within the project was conducted to identify successful methods. The group also discussed organizing bilateral matchmaking sessions in the fourth semester to foster collaboration. Lastly, there was an analysis on how to prepare local dialogues in the context of the Besaya Europa Plus project to promote productive discussions and ensure the achievement of project goals.
