1st STAKEHOLDER GROUP MEETING HELD IN FRANCE

The first meeting was held on Tuesday 29 August on the topic of "Microfinance for social inclusion in Seine-Saint-Denis" and was attended by

  • Mathieu Alesi, Council of Seine-Saint-Denis, Direction of Inclusion and Employment,
  • Isabelle Gastal, Banque de France, Director for Seine-Saint-Denis,
  • Grégoire Héaulme, Director of Adie Ile-de-France and Centre Val-de-Loire,
  • Aristote Zola, Territorial Development Officer for CRESUS,
  • Philippe Assedo, Head of Institutional Relations and Corporate Commitment at BNP Paribas Personal Finance,
  • Angélique Rose, Managing Director of France Active Métropole
  • Sabrina Lauro, Regional Coordinator of Cigales.

The 6 stakeholders presented their missions and activities in the field of microfinance and solidarity finance and took part in a workshop aimed at proposing a territorial analysis to better understand the challenges of microfinance for the most vulnerable populations, micro-entrepreneurs and actors of social and solidarity economy.

This meeting was the starting point for discussions aimed at developing our practices in the region in terms of microfinance and financial inclusion, in order to meet the needs and build microcredit systems adapted to future market developments and capable of providing solutions to current challenges: economic recovery, social inclusion, ecological and digital transition.
