The Seine-Saint-Denis stakeholder group met on Monday 9 September for the third time.

This meeting was attended by Julie Casanaova (Adie), Aristote Zola (CRESUS), Clotilde Califano (France Active Métropole), Isabelle Gastal and Farid Zahoui (Banque de France Seine-Saint-Denis), Yoan Noguier and Clement Delcourt (Yunus France).

The first part of this meeting aimed at giving a feedback to local stakeholders about European good practices in microfinance and solidarity finance. We alsoinvited partners to visit the Interreg platform in order to discover the local GP’s we shared and European partners have selected.

In the second part of the meeting, we introduced the collaboration with Yunus France fort the next of Microfuture Project. At this stage of the process, in order to initiate a real change in our public policies, it is nessary to work with experts in « micro equity ».

That is why the Seine-Saint-Denis Council is relying on Yunus's expertise to launch a feasibility study to test innovative microfinance solutions in Seine-Saint-Denis. Yunus France's expertise and network in this field and the methodology to be implemented for this opportunity study, in partnership with Grameen Trust and other internal and external partners of the French and international Yunus network, will allow us to change the scale and level of innovation significantly.
