4th STAKEHOLDER GROUP MEETING HELD IN SWEDEN
The fourth meeting of the Swedish stakeholder group in the Microfuture project took place on 10 December in Örebro, at the premises of the Activa Foundation. The meeting was attended by Anna Örenius (Örebro föreningsråd), Lars Lundberg (Örebro föreningsråd), Anders Johansson (Coompanion), Isabel Suarez (Coompanion), Anders Bro (Region Örebro län), Mona Hedfeldt (Region Örebro län) Maria Lindborg (Region Örebro län), Lotta Karlsson-Andersson (Stiftelsen Activa), Cecilia Lönn Elgstrand (Örebro läns bildningsförbund), Daniel Nätterdal (Örebro skateboard), Petra Weckström (Örebro rättighetscenter), Thomas Rasmussen (Tegelbruket) och Sofia Tungfeldt (Möckelnföreningarna).
During the meeting, the participants discussed the experiences from the latest Microfuture project meeting that took place in Örebro. The overall opinion was that the project meeting had been very interesting and that it provided many new ideas on how microfinance in Sweden could develop. The meeting was also devoted to describing and analyzing the regional innovation support system. There are large resources tied to traditional profit-making companies and research-based activities. However, the development paths and support, including financing, for social enterprises and other actors in the social economy are significantly limited. Today's exercise was about identifying what support is available and what is missing, and how the experiences from the Microfuture project could contribute to the development of the system.
