1st stakeholder meeting in Linköping

On the 25th of August, the municipality of Linköping hosted a kick off meeting with members of the local stakeholder group. In total, 10 members of the stakeholder group participated, representing the local policy authority and local administrative bodies as well as the business sector, the non-profit sector and the idea-driven sector.

The SWOT analysis identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats that affect the labour-market inclusion of non-EU nationals was an important starting point for the meeting. During the meeting it became clear that several stakeholders are very interested in working together with the municipality in policy development through their participation in MILEstone. A key area of the group is also to improve the cooperation between the relevant sectors and stakeholders in order to achieve a better inclusion of non-EU nationals.
