2nd Stakeholder Workshop in Burgenlandkreis

Last Wednesday, January 24th, the district of Burgenlandkreis held its 2nd stakeholder meeting with a total of 17 participants who represented different sectos, such as local municipalities, working associations, business representatives, private companies, discrimination office and migrants associations. All of this stakeholders play an important role in both boostering the integration of migrants into the labour market but also in developing and improving new approaches for the policy aimed by the district of Burgenlandkreis within the MILEstone project.

During this session in a workshop format, the district of Burgenlandkreis presented the first results of its Baseline study regarding the labour market situation of non-EU nationals in the region. All participants actively discussed new points of view, challenges and possible solutions, that should be included in the study.

In this regard, the district of Burgenlandkreis also announce a further meeting in order to present the Good Practices, that other project partners of the MILEstone consortium have presented during the last partner meetings and might be interesting to be considered as a pilot action transferred to the district of Burgenlandkreis.
