The Municipality of Ascó already held the 4th Stakeholder meeting of the MILEstone, this time requesting the inputs of the youngest migrants that came to Ascó and established themselves as citizens and have seen the whole process of going through regularization and getting the permits to legally remain, study and work in Spain.

By having their inputs the Baseline Study of the Municipality of Ascó got an in-depth view of the actual challenges to be addressed and the municipality got a clear idea of the tools that are working, the ones that require improvement and the ones that are just not working properly.

They discussed and improved the SWOT analysis for the Municipality’s area and a final report on improvement of the Baseline Study was produced to enhance the findings and instigate a further debate on proposals to refine and boost the offered resources and tools to enhance the adaptability of the services to cater the needs of the newcomers.

By the end of the meeting they also discussed on the progress of the Interreg Europe – MILEstone project and the upcoming peer review process which will start shortly and monopolize the next periods of the project and to schedule the main events.
