Energy efficiency one-stop-shops
To facilitate citizens' access to funding programs and information on energy renovation of buildings and the use of renewable energy in housing, a national network of energy efficiency one-stop-shops has been established. This network provides information and energy advisory services in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy production for prosumers.
This network was established under Government Emergency Ordinance No. 92/28.06.2024. Starting from July 2024, the Dolj County Council will support homeowners, homeowners' associations, and all those interested in energy efficiency projects. They will benefit from counseling through the establishment of the Energy Efficiency One-Stop Shop.
Main tasks of the Energy Efficiency One-Stop Shop:
- Provides a public information, advice, and support service for owners of individual or collective dwellings, homeowners' or tenants' associations, tenants, and associations/communities interested in carrying out energy efficiency projects and/or building new renewable energy production capacity. This service is available through the websites of public authorities, on-site at their premises, or by telephone.
- Organizes and maintains a dedicated section on the local public administration authority’s website. This section includes information on financing programs funded by European funds related to the energy renovation of buildings, the implementation of renewable energy projects, the state budget, and other legally established sources. It also covers the steps necessary for the renovation of a dwelling, and the professionals legally authorized to carry out energy audits, technical expertise, installation design, architectural design, and structural design.
- Provides information on registered economic operators, including construction and/or installation firms that can carry out energy renovation works or install renewable energy installations.
