20th Anniversary of Poland in European Union
On the occasion of Poland's 20th anniversary in the European Union, as part of the Open Days, an education and nature picnic was held on Sunday 12 May 2024 at the Education and Nature Centre in Umianowice, during which employees of the Nature and Climate Department organised competitions for children on nature conservation and promoted the NACAO 'Nature-based Carbon Offsets' project, which attracted great interest.
In twenty years of membership, the region has benefited from a huge amount of funding for environmental protection, changing climate conditions or educational projects surrounding nature conservation.
