New ideas for project reporting and communication
NACAO project team participated to the first call project training days in Lille, France, 26.-28.9.2023. During the days the Lead Partner and Communication Manager team learned many useful tips for project reporting, financial reporting and communication. In addition, the important part of the meeting was to get to know people from other EU Interreg projects and network during the coffee breaks. Connecting to other people increases EU wide learning, sharing good practices, exchange of success and failures in the projects and professional relationships which may end up to a new project together in the future.
Participants were excited
The atmosphere in the meeting was inspired and happy. Attendants were eager to learn all the information shared and EU Interreg program Joint Secretary team educated us well to the three topics of the meeting. We got practical guidance, thematic guidance and many situations where we could discuss and pass our own experiences from the regions to the other participants.
Tips for communication
Communication Manager of NACAO was happy to participate both reporting and communication day. Understanding the reporting requirements set to the projects also helps the planning of communication. In communication day we learnt how to reach your audience, produce interesting content to websites and social media, and communicate with project stakeholders. With these tips and the knowledge shared to us, we felt inspired return to home and continue working with the NACAO project. We will also organise our own training days for other NACAO partners, who could not attend to the training days in Lille.
Visit in Lille melted hearts
Lille as a city melted our hearts. The city in northern France charmed the visitors by its beautiful and old-stylish urban landscape. All the small brasseries and cafés served from the morning till the evening and people in Lille had no problem to change from French to English with tourists. Atmosphere in the city was friendly. For pedestrians the city felt safe to walk and noisy traffic was minimised in the old city centre by narrow streets and pole-fences roads. Since it early times development of the business connections between the Netherlands, Flanders and fairs of Champagne was essential for Lille – this can still be seen, for example, in the many railway connections. Did you know that earlier Lille was a city with many canals? The commuters will certainly come back again to Lille on their free time!
