Stakeholder kick-off meeting – France
French partner Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Energy Environment Agency started gathering stakeholders by holding bilateral meetings with each partner between March and July 2023.
Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Energy Environment Agency held their first stakeholders meeting on the 3rd of July. Anaïs Pasteur from the partner organisation tells, that it was a very interesting meeting as it mixed different fields: forestry, agriculture, local councils and even research. After a short presentation of the NACAO project and the state-of-the-art of carbon compensation in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, the stakeholders reacted on the outcomes of the project.
“We had a general discussion on the good practices already take place in the region, the potential places where good practices could be implemented, and the role played by the partners in carbon compensation."
"Our next meeting is planned on November. It will help us to shape up the project intentions at a regional level” says Pasteur.
