Stakeholder kick-off meeting – Italy

In Marche Region's first stakeholders meeting met many invited local organizations with competence over environmental policy instrument and management. Several of them, more of 15, took part. In the first phase of this event, the project has been explained describing aims and prospectives, partners organizations and their activities. Then the high points of the kick-off meeting in Sevilla were summed up. Good practices from partners and from Marche Region were showed; our good practice involve the “Compensative Ecological Evaluation” (in Italian Valutazione Ecologica Compensativa - VEC) a methodology for computation of ecological values of ecosystems to quantify compensations, in terms of carbon adsorption. Finally, there were debate about the potential of the NACAO project for our territories and the future activities that can be carried out.

Exchange of information and purposes was very useful and a lot of stakeholders seemed to be stimulated by the ideas we shared.
