Stakeholder kick-off meeting – Spain

The first meeting of the Andalusia stakeholders was held in 7th of September 2023 by the Ministry of Sustainability, Environment and Blue Economy, through the Andalusian Climate Change Office. We explored the exchange of good practices in offsetting emissions between European regions, sparking great interest in learning opportunities. 

The meeting began with a round of introductions from each of the participants, during which they shared their needs, the initiatives their organizations are undertaking in terms of emissions offsetting, and their expectations and hopes for the project.  Main NACAO project´s activities and mileston  were presented  with a particular focus on the anticipated outcomes for the first semester. The results were shared with a brief overview and presentation of each of the Good Practices exchanged during the First Interregional Thematic Seminar. All participants reiterated the importance of the learning process that this NACAO project offers and were interested in to actively participate in the project's communication and dissemination process through their websites and social media.
