Stakeholders in interview – 2

Nature-based Carbon Offset project partners met in Sevilla, Spain, in June 2023. In addition to partner members there were also stakeholders participating to the meeting. Polish stakeholder Jacek Koba from Regional Directorate of State Forests in Radom, Świętokrzyskie region, tells his impressions of the meeting. 

Koba states that this is his first time in Interreg Europe project meeting. He had very good experiences from two-day meeting where he learnt that every country has their own way to create own programs and activities to cope with climate change. Especially interesting for Koba was the Spanish blue carbon program, because it seems very similar to their own program with peatlands and march lands in Poland. It was very important and exciting for him to hear about Andalucia experiences with blue carbon.
