Let’s start the project – Kick-off event
The kick-off event of NBS4LOCAL project took place on May 23-24 and was divided into two parts: the thematic kick-off and the administrative kick-off. The purpose of the meeting was to provide a comprehensive introduction of the project and establish the necessary groundwork for its successful execution.
The project structure was discussed to provide a clear understanding of the main activities and implementation plan. The team reviewed the key stages and milestones, identifying the initial stage 1 activities to be prioritized. This step enabled the development of a comprehensive roadmap for the project's initial phase. Stakeholder involvement was emphasized during the kick-off event. Recognizing the importance of engaging relevant individuals, organizations, and communities, strategies for effective stakeholder involvement were discussed. This collaborative approach ensures that the project's outcomes are aligned with the needs and expectations of the stakeholders, increasing the likelihood of success. The event also introduced the Policy Instrument (PI) template and the Good Practice (GP) template. The templates will enable the team to gather valuable insights and lessons learned, promoting knowledge sharing and maximizing the project's impact.
Partner introductions were a significant aspect of the kick-off event. Each participating organization had the opportunity to introduce themselves, showcasing their expertise, resources, and intended contributions to the project.
