Final On-Site Deep Dive done
The PLASTIX partners and stakeholders travelled to Milan for the last On-Site Deep Dive of the project. The OSDD was organised and hosted by AFIL and Regione Lombardia 20-21 November 2024.
g20 November 2024, the Open Seminar Lombardy initiatives and best practices in the Circular and Sustainable Plastics Value Chain offered an introduction into the regional ecosystem for circular economy and advanced manufacturing. In addition, several stakeholders from Lombardy and from other partners regions had the opportunity to showcase their best practices related to plastics, circular economy and sustainability.

During the OSDD, in particular in the afternoon of 20 November and 21 November, the PLASTIX delegation had the possibility to visit the following entities:
- Polytechnic University of Milan (Leonardo Campus)
- STIIMA-CNR
- MIND - Milano Innovation District
- ROLD
- The Cannon Group
In Milan, the partnership also had its internal meetings including discussions on the current project activities, planning the upcoming staff exchanges, and organising the fourth Steering Group meeting. A video was also shot in Milan, so stay tuned for that early 2025.
