Successful kick-off in Tampere
Partners from Italy, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden came to Tampere this week to get to know the region and particulary its circular economy operational environment.
The programme was started with an open seminar focusing on plastics on Tuesday morning. The scene was set by Maria Dolors Nuñez, ACCIÓ, who presented the preliminary results of an extensive state-of-play analysis. The final report will be published on the project website later this year. In addition to regional presentations, there were also two highly interesting company cases Sulapac and Walki.
The rest of the agenda was dedicated to the partnership. There were some more presentations from the Council of Tampere Region, from eco-industrial park ECO3, from EcoFellows representing the Horizon Europe project TREASoURcE, and from the Tampere Region Municipal Waste Management Company. In addition, there was a workshop dedicated for internal co-creation regarding the envisaged policy change in each region, a Steering Group meeting to sort out administrative matters and communication responsibilities, and a wokrshop on the Circular Benchmark Tool by ProActBlu.
After three sunny days in Tampere, everyone felt inspired and motivated to work with this wonderful group for the next years.
